Year 3 had a fantastic morning at Maiden Castle taking part in basketball and Jiu Jitsu as part of a sports festival event. Behaviour was very good and everyone enjoyed the activities involved. Geography
We have been using our map skills to find counties and cities of the UK.
Coding
In ICT we have been using code to control Alex and Steve from Mindcraft. The children picked it up very quickly!
Investigating Reflection
Art
This term in Art we have been studying landscapes by David Hockney. We have been developing skills in painting, mark making and line and pattern.
History
We have been learning about ordering events chronologically as an introduction to our Stone Age topic.
