Dear Parent / Carer
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, and my company, and what we do within St Cuthbert’s. My name is Stacey Button and I am the Managing Director of SBCC. I have been running the Breakfast and Teatime Club, within St Cuthbert’s, for a number of years now. My company is employed by schools, children’s centres and numerous other agencies to provide sports, arts and crafts and cookery activities for children aged from babies to 16 years. I work in partnership with both Durham County Council and Sunderland City Council within their schools and establishments.
At St Cuthbert’s we provide a Breakfast Club, which is a drop off service, so no prior booking is required. It runs from 07:45 until the start of school. For £4.50 the children are provided with a healthy breakfast, which includes cereal, toast, toasties, yoghurts and fruit juice. A gentle sporting activity is provided after breakfast to get the children motivated and ready for the day ahead.
The Teatime Club we provide, I must stress, is NOT childcare. It must ALWAYS be booked in advance. We run from when school finishes until 5:45pm. During this time the children are offered an arts and crafts or sports activity. The children can choose which activity they would like to do.
- Full Session is from finishing school, until 5:45pm, snack included, at a cost of £8.50.
- First Session is from finishing school, until 4:15pm (No Snack) at a cost of £4.50.
- Second Session is collection from school, activity from 4:15pm until 5:45pm, snack included, at a cost of £5.50.
All staff members have enhanced CRB checks, First Aid certificates and safeguarding training to the highest standards. We as a company have a fabulous rapport not only with the children, but also with the staff members of St Cuthbert’s.
If you would like your child to attend one of our sessions or have any further questions please don’t hesitate to contact me, Stacey Button, on 07946490096. Can we stress that all bookings must be made on this number as whilst we work in partnership with St Cuthbert’s, school staff cannot in any circumstances take bookings or messages regarding their child attending the Club.
For further information please contact the school.
